DragonWave Inc., a  global supplier of packet microwave radio systems for mobile and access networks, announced a product addition to its portfolio with the introduction of the Avenue Link Lite. With a form factor of only 7.5 in square including antenna, the sub-6 GHz point-to-point microwave radio supports both licensed and unlicensed spectrum and is ideally suited for non-line-of-sight (NLOS) scenarios where obstructions are found between link endpoints.

DragonWave Inc. announced the closing of the acquisition of Nokia Siemens Networks’ microwave transport business including its associated operational support system (OSS) and related support functions. The acquisition was effected pursuant to the Amended and Restated Master Acquisition Agreement between DragonWave Inc., its wholly-owned subsidiary DragonWave S.à r.l. and Nokia Siemens Networks dated May 3, 2012 (the “Master Acquisition Agreement”).

DragonWave Inc., a leading global supplier of packet microwave radio systems for mobile and access networks, announced the availability of higher modulation modes of up to 2048 QAM on its Horizon packet microwave products. This higher modulation allows the radios to transport up to 37 percent more data through existing microwave channels, which significantly improves spectral efficiency and, correspondingly, lowers operators' cost per bit.

DragonWave Inc. announced that it has reached an amended agreement for DragonWave’s acquisition of Nokia Siemens Networks’ microwave transport business including its associated operational support system (OSS) and related support functions. The amended agreement simplifies the transaction, and is intended to provide both companies with greater flexibility to adapt to changing market environments and enhance the delivery of customer-valued product features.
