NEC Corp. completed interoperability testing for the Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) Program's 700 MHz Public Safety Demonstration Network at the Department of Commerce Boulder Laboratories.

NEC Laboratories Europe’s vehicular communication system successfully completed the multi-vendor interoperability tests for Car-to-Car and Car-to-Infrastructure (Car-2-X) communications system and was verified to be a mature implementation by the ETSI Centre for Testing and Interoperability (ETSI CTI) at the first ETSI Cooperative Mobility Services PlugtestsTM.
