AtlanTecRF launched its Ruggedised Satellite Simulator System, designed to provide a loop-back test without the need to access the satellite. Comprised of two units, this Satellite Simulator (RSS Series) is portable thereby facilitating the testing and calibration of terminals off-satellite.
AtlanTecRF has launched a new range of coaxial power dividers. These 40GHz products, designated AKD, are available in a choice of 2, 4 or 8 ways and feature bandwidths starting at 18 to 40 GHz but extending to the full six plus Octaves of 1.0 to 40.0 GHz.
AtlanTecRF launched the new Multi-Path Satellite Simulator System (the MSS Series.) The MSS Systems are designed to ‘talk’ to two ground-based or mobile satcom stations, simultaneously, thereby replicating for test purposes, the satellite link while remaining off-air. Each system consists of three parts, a base control unit and two weatherproof transponders each of which can be orientated to connect with a system under test (SUT) antenna.
AtlanTecRF has launched an expanded range of cable connector options for its standard cable assembly range. New connectors include SMA male straight, SMA male R/A, SMA female bulkhead, Type N male straight, N male R/A, N female bulkhead. These are in addition to the standard SMA male connectors already offered across the company’s cable range. These connector options can be applied to AtlanTecRF’s ASR, ASF and AFX cable series.
AtlanTecRF launched a range of Ka-band loop test translators (LTT) with ethernet control. The ALR series of ka-band loop test translators address the 27 GHz uplink market and feature synthesised variable frequency local oscillators (LOs) to provide the user with the most versatile and comprehensive operating configurations for translation of uplink (Tx) frequencies to either downlink (Rx) frequencies or to L-Band, and for L-Band to downlink (Rx).
AtlanTecRF launched an ultra broadband amplifier, covering the 50 MHz to 20 GHz frequency range in a single unit. This 25 dB gain block delivers up to 18 dB at 1 dB compression and yet has a typical noise figure of just 1.8 dB, thereby making it an all round, general purpose amplifier with applications in test measurement, electronic countermeasures and scientific research as well as a whole range of communication equipment.
AtlanTecRF launched its latest ultra broadband 500 MHz to 20 GHz digitally controlled PIN attenuator. This digital attenuator (ADA-500-2000-60/0.5) covers the whole frequency range from 500 MHz to 20 GHz and provides a minimum attenuation range of 60dB in 0.5dB steps with TTL control of 7 bits. Switching time is less than 200 nanoseconds and the input power handling capability is up to +25dBm.
