M/A-COM Technology Solutions Holdings Inc. (MACOM), a leading supplier of high-performance analog RF, microwave, millimeterwave and photonic semiconductor products, announced that it has successfully completed its previously announced acquisition of FiBest Ltd. (FiBest), a Japan-based merchant market component supplier of optical sub assemblies, in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $60 million.

ANADIGICS Inc. announced the expiration of the previously-announced "Go-Shop Period" and the receipt of acquisition proposals (as defined in the GaAs Labs Merger Agreement referenced below) for the company.

The merger has created a high performance mixed signal semiconductor industry leader, with combined revenue of over $10 billion. Ltd. (“JAC Capital”) from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). The divesture of the RF Power business is a condition for NXP’s merger with Freescale Semiconductor.

Skyworks Solutions Inc., an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors connecting people, places and things, today announced that it decided not to modify its amended and restated merger agreement with PMC-Sierra Inc., entered into on October 29, 2015. Today PMC terminated the amended and restated merger agreement and, as a result, Skyworks is entitled to an $88.5 million termination fee from PMC.

Custom MMIC, a leading developer of performance-driven monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), has expanded its standard product portfolio with three new frequency multipliers/doublers. The multiplier family now covers output frequencies from 8 to 40 GHz, with both passive and active architectures. The active multipliers offer high output power for driving mixers directly, while their passive counterparts offer low phase noise with a lower output power.
