Leading RF/microwave test equipment manufacturers were on hand at the2012 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona between February 27 and March 1, ashowing off the latest test solutions for the mobile communications industry. Here's a sample of what they had on display.
Rohde & Schwarz offers manufacturers of mobile devices and consumer electronics two universal test platforms: the R&S CMW500 and the R&S CMW270. The R&S CMW500 covers all common cellular and non-cellular standards, while the R&S CMW270 has been customized for non-cellular standards. New options now provide additional WLAN signaling functions.
Agilent announces two new videos, “MIPI M-PHY Automated Tx Test Demo” and “Anticipate Multi-Standard Radio (MSR) Performance with Agilent SystemVue”, created to help understand the intricacies of the evolving cellular standards to enable faster delivery of products to market.

Microlease has become the first test equipment specialist to offer the newly-released Anritsu MW8209A PIM Master as a rental option. The analyser covers the 900 MHz band and is designed to address the growing requirement for the measurement of PIM in E-GSM networks, including UMTS Band VIII and LTE Band 8.
