Agilent Technologies Inc. announced that the company has been accredited as a designated calibration agency under Japan Radio Law by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications. Agilent is the first non-government designated calibration agency in Japan.

Agilent Technologies Inc. introduced economical semipermanent solder-in probing solutions for its InfiniiMax III oscilloscope probing system. Engineers can use these accessories forhigh-speed digital system design, component design/characterization and differential serial bus measurements.

Anritsu Co. introduces software options for its MT8820C radio communication analyzer that allows the one-box tester to perform testing of LTE FDD Band 22 and LTE TDD Band 42/43 LTE smartphones and mobile terminals. The extended functionality enhances the capability of the MT8820C, which can be used to test all mobile communications technologies, and allows the inherent cost and time efficiencies associated with the MT8820C to be realized in the development of LTE FDD Band 22 and LTE TDD Band 42/43 LTE phones and devices.

National Instruments introduced NI LabVIEW 2012, the latest version of its system design software. Users gain ready-to-run starting points for a breadth of LabVIEW applications and access to new training options that help improve the quality of their systems.

National Instruments introduced the world’s first RF vector signal transceiver (VST), the NI PXIe-5644R, and with it, a new class of software-designed instrumentation. This software-centric architecture represents a new era in which engineers and scientists can use LabVIEW to tailor open, field-programmable gate array (FPGA)-based hardware for their specific needs.

Rohde & Schwarz's new R&S ESR test receiver is available in two different models for frequencies ranging from 10 Hz to 3 GHz or 7 GHz to meet the requirements of all users who perform EMC certification on commercial equipment.

Lake Shore Cryotronics Inc., a manufacturer of scientific sensors, instruments, and systems for precise measurement and control, announces that it will feature its new cryogen-free cryogenic probe stations and the 8400 Series Hall effect measurement system at SPIE Optics and Photonics, August 12-16, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA, in Booth #1122.

Agilent Technologies Inc. announced that AT4 Wireless Test Systems’ business assets are now part of Agilent. The two companies had announced an acquisition agreement on July 16. Financial details were not disclosed.
