Ericsson has provided Switzerland's leading operator Swisscom with Europe's first fully commercial LTE-Advanced three-carrier aggregation solution combining LTE in both FDD and TDD modes.

 Skyworks Solutions, Inc., an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors connecting people, places and things, announced that it is expanding production capacity in Japan to meet the growing demand for its filter technology. Anritsu Co. announces PCTEST Engineering Laboratory Inc. has acquired all elements of Anritsu’s leading LTE Enhanced Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Services (eMBMS) test portfolio, including eMBMS RF Performance test cases on Anritsu’s ME7873L RF/RRM Conformance Test System (CTS) as well as Carrier Acceptance Test (CAT) and Protocol Conformance Test (PCT) test cases on the ME7834L Mobile Device Test Platform (MDTP).

Linear Technology announces the LTC5549, a double-balanced mixer that can operate either as an up-converter or down-converter, with a very wide RF frequency range from 2 to 14 GHz. The LTC5549 offers exceptionally high linearity of 24.4 dBm IIP3 at 9 GHz.
