RF Micro Devices Inc. announced it has been selected to support multiple next-generation devices for a leading manufacturer of 3G/4G smartphones. The next-generation devices include a highly anticipated LTE smartphone that will feature multiple variants of RFMD’s family of ultra-high efficiency WCDMA and 4G LTE power amplifiers.
AtlanTecRF claims that its new ALR series of Satellite Loop Test Translators (LTT) introduces, for the first time, the concept of synthesised Local Oscillator (LO) frequency control to provide the user with a compact, versatile and comprehensive approach to satellite communications equipment alignment and quality monitoring in both the Ka-band and Ku-bands.
Newtec has successfully tested its new high speed Ka-Band technology for SES Broadband Services. The test was completed with next generation Ka-Band Sat3Play® terminals, which feature download speeds beyond 10 Mbps, and related hub infrastructure including a new high speed modem and outdoor unit.
