TowerJazz, the global specialty foundry leader, announced that TowerJazz Panasonic Semiconductor Co. (TPSCo), working with Keysight Technologies, has developed an Advanced Design System (ADS) interoperable PDK (process design kit), as well as a calibrated Momentum module deck on TPSCo's advanced 65nm RF CMOS platform to allow mutual customers to improve design efficiency and realize first time to market. 

COMSOL, the leading provider of multiphysics modeling, simulation, and application design software, today announced the expansion of its office in Shanghai, China. Keysight introduced measurement application software designed to help engineers quickly and accurately measure and quantify PAM-4 (pulse amplitude modulation with four amplitude levels) signals. The software is used with the Keysight S-Series, 90000A, V-Series, 90000 X- and Z-Series real-time oscilloscope platforms and the 86100D DCA-X Infiniium sampling oscilloscope.

The new PC-based SourceXpress platform allows users to easily setup, synchronize, and remotely control multiple arbitrary waveform generators and introduces a versatile plug-in architecture for waveform creation modules that will span a wide variety of applications from high speed serial and coherent optical to RF and wireless.

Teledyne LeCroy expands the capabilities of its industry-leading oscilloscope products with the introduction of the VectorLinQ vector signal analysis software option. VectorLinQ enables sophisticated visualization and analysis of standard modulation schemes including n-PSK, n-QAM, circular QAM, ASK, and FSK, as well as custom signal types and symbol positions.

Ting-Yen Shih, a Ph.D. student from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was announced the 2015 winner of the FEKO Student Competition. Keysight Technologies Inc. announced a four-level pulsed amplitude modulation (PAM-4) capabilityfor the Keysight EEsof EDA Advanced Design System (ADS) Channel Simulator. The introduction of this capability further advances Keysight’s leadership position in IBIS-AMI SerDes channel simulation.
