AVX Corp., a leading manufacturer of advanced passive components and interconnect solutions, has introduced two new wideband, 3dB, 90° hybrid couplers: a 2100MHz device for 1.5 – 2.1GHz performance and a 2700MHz device for 2.1 – 2.7GHz performance.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for Peregrine Semiconductors' 10MHz to 8GHz SP4T switch. The PE42441 combines low insertion loss of 1dB with high isolation of 39dB (measured at 6GHz). Internal 50 ohm terminations give this absorptive switch a P0.1dB compression point of 31dB, a significant competitive advantage for target applications in wireless infrastructure and wireless connectivity.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. introduced a new universal edgewound power resistor. Providing a convenient drop-in replacement for competing solutions, the universal-mounted EDGU combines a high-reliability design with continuous duty operation up to 85 A and a short-time overload of 10x rated power for five seconds. 

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. introduced a new Hi-Rel series of TANTAMOUNT® surface-mount solid tantalum molded chip capacitors for military and aerospace applications. Available with high-reliability screening and surge current testing options in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365, the Vishay Sprague T42series combines a built-in fuse for fail-safe operation with high capacitance and voltage ratings and low ESR down to 80 mΩ at +25 °C and 100 kHz. 

The LTC3114-1 is a synchronous, current-mode buck-boost converter that delivers up to 1 A of continuous output current from a wide range of power sources, including single-cell Li-Ion, 24 / 28 V industrial rails and 40 V automotive inputs.  The LTC3114-1’s 2.2 to 40 V input and 2.7 to 40 V output range provides a regulated output.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. introduced a new automotive-grade IHLP® low-profile, high-current inductor with an industry-high continuous operating temperature range to +180 °C. Offered in the 2525 case size with a low profile of 3.0 mm, the new Vishay Dale IHLP-2525CZ-8A provides a wide range of inductance values from 0.47 µH to 22 µH.
