Anritsu Company announces the availability of LTE Advanced Carrier Aggregation (CA) Measurement Software for its MT8820C RF tester, enabling analysis of leading-edge mobile devices incorporating the new ultra-fast technology evolution. The new option leverages the ParallelPhone Mode (PPMTM) dual-RF capability of the MT8820C to simulate inter-band and intra-band downlink frequency domain duplex (FDD) CA with call processing.
RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a new line of microwave absorbing materials from MAST Technologies. These “tuned frequency” absorbers are electrically optimized for specific applications and intended for customers who experience high frequency cavity resonance effects or high frequency EMI emissions above 18 GHz.
Linear Technology Corp. announces the LT3007, the latest member in a family of high voltage, micro power, robust PNP-based LDOs, featuring an ultralow 3µA quiescent current. The LT3007’s high input voltage capability, spanning 2.0 to 45 V with an adjustable output voltage ranging from 0.6 to 44.5 V, enables operation in a wide variety of application spaces.
The Anaren Integrated Radio (AIR) module A2530R24x has been proven to be fully compatible with the popular NanoStack 2.0 6LoWPAN protocol stack and NanoService embedded Web service software products for 2.4 GHz radio applications from Sensinode (Oulu, Finland). This AIR module was developed to simplify development of wireless applications intended to be compliant for the ZigBee® standard, but the module's ability to run and support NanoStack and NanoService is also an important option for customers.
Richardson RFPD Inc. announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for three new high-performance bulk acoustic wave (BAW) RF bandpass filters from TriQuint. The new BAW bandpass filters offer low insertion loss, high attenuation, greater power handling and temperature stability, and superior signal selectivity, making them ideally-suited for base station, repeaters, and other wireless infrastructure applications.
A next generation, “size matters” 1 kW power amplifier from Empower RF Systems, already deployed at a customer site overseas, had its operating software and user interface successfully updated via a software patch that was downloaded from a secure web portal and installed with a USB drive inserted directly into the back panel of the amplifier.
Custom MMIC announces the introduction of the CMD158P3, a new broadband driver amplifier ideally suited for mixer LO chains, passive multipliers, and medium power applications. The CMD158P3 covers 6 to 14 GHz and delivers 20 dB of gain with +20 dBm of saturated power while requiring a single +5 V supply at 95 mA.
The GT-8300A chassis comes with a LAN and IEEE-488 interface with a built-in resource manager. It is available in either 3 U with four slots, or 6 U with eight slots. These are capable of supporting any of the Giga-tronics ASCOR line of 3000 Series switch modules.
The Giga-tronics ASCOR Series 8000, 8800 and 8900 have a flexible and versatile design making it an ideal platform for standard and tailored switching solutions and RF Interface Units (RFIUs). It is geared to control any of the various switch types and enable them to be mounted on the front or rear panel or host switching and signal conditioning components internally.
The Giga-tronics GT-8550B USB power sensors offer easy-to-use high-performance RF and microwave power measurement. High dynamic range and high accuracy make these sensors ideal for testing in wireless communication applications and Defense EW systems. The GT-8550B series feature no zero and no calibration and fast measurement speed.
