The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has accepted KEMET’s qualification of C0G and BP dielectrics to MIL-PRF-32535 ‘M’ and ‘T’ levels, making them the first BME MLCCs qualified for defense and aerospace applications.

The Association of Old Crows (AOC) held the organization’s fifty-fourth convention and symposium in Washington, D.C. the week of November 27, 2017. The event attracted 1,633 attendees, almost a 30 percent increase from 2016, and 107 exhibitors, a 10 percent increase from 2016, with 25 countries represented. Northrop Grumman Corp. (NGC) has received a $124.7 million award for production of the AN/APR-39D(V)2 digital radar warning receiver and electronic warfare (EW) management systems.

Kymeta and Intelsat announced that Kymeta’s KĀLO internet access service is available with broad initial geographic coverage. KĀLO combines Intelsat’s high-throughput satellite network with Kymeta’s flat panel, electronically-steered satellite terminals.
