Richardson RFPD Inc. announces its attendance and participation at the 2012 Microwave Workshops & Exhibition (MWE). More than 400 microwave-related companies from around the world are scheduled to exhibit this year at MWE, which also features technical seminars and workshops.

Aeroflex Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflex Holding Corp., announced a new test system based on its PXI 3000 Series modular instrumentation, which has been designed to offer measurements over a 160 MHz bandwidth at operating frequencies up to 6 GHz. The new system is particularly suited for making R&D, design verification, and production measurements on wireless LAN (WLAN) devices based on the IEEE 802.11ac standard, extending Aeroflex's market-leading 802.11ac measurement capability in PXI to cover the optional 160 MHz bandwidth.

Analog Devices Inc. introduced an FPGA mezzanine card (FMC) that incorporates JEDEC JESD204B SerDes (serializer/de-serializer) technology to allow digital and analog designers to simplify high-speed data converter-to-FPGA connectivity.

 Today it is hard to imagine data exchange and instrument control without USB. No other interface has achieved such popularity for user equipment, electronic consumer goods and industrial products. As a result, the need for reliable, fast test solutions in development and integration has also increased. New software from Rohde & Schwarz makes the company's high-performance oscilloscope ideal for automated USB 2.0 compliance tests.    

IQD has extended the performance of their IQOV-90 series high stability low phase noise OCXOs to encompass the full standard industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C. High operating temperature ranges are significantly more technically challenging in OCXOs than for other frequency products. By increasing the internal crystals turnover point to a safe margin above 85°C and reducing the thermal loss of the circuit, our design team have been able to increase the maximum external temperature range of the part to 85°C.

RF Micro Devices Inc. announced that RFMD has production released two highly linear gallium nitride (GaN) RF unmatched power transistors (UPTs) —RFHA3942 (35W) and RFHA3944 (65W) — that deliver superior linear performance versus competing GaN transistors.

Eastern OptX, specialists in fiber optic delay lines for RF and microwave test applications, announced the commercial availability of the Series 7000 Multi-Radio Channel Replicator, a multi-radio test system that replicates the propagation path of real-world applications. The Series 7000 is used by the radio communications industry to design, produce, qualify, and verify interoperability of radio systems.

Agilent Technologies Inc. introduced a high-precision PXIe frequency reference. The Agilent M9300A generates clean 10-MHz and 100-MHz signals for high-performance RF systems.

L-com Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products has introduced two new HyperLink® brand horizontal polarized waveguide omnidirectional antennas. These rugged new 2.4 GHz antennas are available in 9 dBi and 13 dBi versions.
