Antenova Ltd has added the Rubra A10393 cellular penta-band SMD antenna to the gigaNOVA^® range of surface mount standard antennas. Designed for ease of integration into wireless devices, Rubra is suitable for an extensive range of embedded cellular applications such as tablets, tracking devices, femto base stations, remote monitoring and other M2M applications.

Huawei has been selected by Portuguese mobile operator Optimus to provide UMTS/LTE multi-frequency antennas for its LTE commercial network. Peregrine Semiconductor Corp., a fabless provider of high-performance radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuits (ICs), announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 5,500,000 shares of common stock at a price to the public of $14 per share. The shares are expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on August 8, 2012 under the ticker symbol "PSMI."
