Michael J. Sisto has joined Lemko Corp. as vice president of sales. Mr. Sisto comes to Lemko with nearly three decades of technology and telecommunications expertise working for IBM, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard. He will spearhead Lemko’s sales efforts in the rapidly growing mobile enterprise space.

Texas Instruments Inc. introduced two analog front ends (AFEs) that provide low power, high performance and space savings for test and measurement, wireless communications and optical networking equipment. The AFE7071 is a complete radio transmitter that reduces board space by up to 80 percent compared to discrete implementations. It integrates a dual digital-to-analog converter (DAC), tunable baseband filters, IQ modulator and digital quadrature modulation correction circuit.

Designed for process automation and instrumentation systems where data channel density is increasing and channels must be monitored faster, ADI’s new AD7176-2 A/D converter achieves a 50 kSPS (thousand samples per second) multi-channel scan rate.
