Rogers Corp. will be promoting its industry-leading printed circuit board (PCB) materials at the IPC APEX EXPO, being held March 25-27, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center (Las Vegas, NV). The IPC APEX EXPO, with more than 400 exhibiting companies and thousands of attendees, is a leading industry event for professionals involved in PCB design and manufacturing and electronic assembly and test.

Avago Technologies, a leading supplier of analog interface components for wireless, wireline, and industrial applications, announced the availability of a new series of 100GbE-LR4 transmit optical subassembly (TOSA) and receive optical subassembly (ROSA) devices, the AFCP-T4X25EL and AFCP-R4X25PL, respectively. This new series of devices is designed for use in the new CFP4 optical transceiver form factor enabling carrier grade transmission over fiber links of up to 10 km.

AWR Corp., the innovation leader in high-frequency EDA software, announces the winners of its 2013 National Taiwan University Student Design Competition. AWR partnered with National Taiwan University in mid-2013 to sponsor the first ever Taiwan Student Design Competition. Linear Technology Corp. announces the automotive (H-grade) and high reliability military (MP-grade) versions of the LT4320, an ideal diode bridge controller for 9 to 72 V systems. The LT4320 replaces a full-wave diode bridge rectifier with a low loss N-channel MOSFET bridge to reduce the power and voltage losses by a factor of ten or more. Power supply size is reduced as the enhanced power efficiency eliminates bulky heat sinks.

Test Equipment Plus announced the Signal Hound BB60A, a real-time spectrum analyzer and RF recorder designed to capture and display RF events as short as 1 µs. The BB60A is small, lightweight, affordable,USB-based and operates from 9 kHz to 6 GHz.

Gowanda Electronics, a US-based designer and manufacturer of precision electronic components and inductors for power, radio frequency (RF), and high frequency (HF) applications, is teaming up with its recently acquired sister company, TTE Inc., also a US-based company, to provide a broader range of electronic components to the global design engineering community. TTE Inc. designs and manufactures RF and microwave filters for critical markets including defense and test & measurement.
