Agilent Technologies Inc. introduced the next generation of optical modulation analysis software for its family of optical modulation analyzers. The new software makes it easy for photonic engineers to set up tests on their optical modulation analyzers, increasing test efficiency by cutting the number of steps in half. By automating the execution of tests, the software also minimizes testing errors.

Aeroflex Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflex Holding Corp., announced the release of the 3515B Military Portable Radio Test Set featuring a color touch-screen and enhanced specifications to provide users with a lightweight, easy to use, and reliable radio test system. Designed for Military applications, the 3515B features a ruggedized touch-screen with a magnesium case for use in severe environments. 

Skyworks Solutions Inc., an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors enabling a broad range of end markets, announced that its highly integrated, low noise amplifier front-end modules are being leveraged by various OEMs to enable global positioning systems (GPS) and global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) in smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices in emerging markets.

The first Brigade-level deployment of the General Dynamics-built Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (WIN-T) Increment 2, the Soldier’s Network, is successfully supporting soldiers with the 4th Brigade, 10th Mountain Division (4/10) in Afghanistan.
