UK-based flexible, twistable, waveguide manufacturer Flexiguide Ltd. has been awarded The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for its outstanding level of Export Sales. The company ships around 92 percent of its product overseas and has a history of delivering world class products to over 40 countries. During an official ceremony, the award was presented by Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant, Mr. Eric Dancer CBE JP.

The company’s Marketing Manager, Andrew Warren, said, “The growth in our export business has been very sharp over the last 18 months. We are penetrating new markets on the strength of our reputation for high quality, reliable deliveries and cost-effective solutions. Winning this award will undoubtedly help our marketing activities and strengthen our position as we roll out new product lines to the military and defence markets.”

Flexiguide produces waveguide assemblies that are used in the communications industry for mobile backhaul and satellite communication applications. Sales are generated by a network of agents spanning the globe, enabling the company to sell its products to some of the world’s largest blue-chip OEM companies in the telecommunications industry.

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is widely regarded as being the UK’s most prestigious achievement in recognition of business development. Flexiguide’s managing director, Jason Privett, stated, “We have built a very strong reputation globally and I firmly believe our products are the most competitive on the market. Winning this award will have a tremendous positive impact on our customers’ perception of us and it will also boost credibility with our larger clients.”
