Comtech Receives $5.6 M of Movement Tracking System Orders

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., received orders totaling $5.6 M under its Movement Tracking System, or MTS contract, with the US Army. Total orders received to date against the $605.1 M MTS contract increased to $126 M.


The orders are for the supply of satellite network bandwidth, satellite network operations management, program management and technical support services in support of ongoing MTS program activities in the United States and abroad.

Fred Kornberg, president and chief executive officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, "These orders illustrate the importance of Comtech's satellite network, satellite network operations management, program management, and technical support services in providing turn-key satellite tracking and communication systems for the US Army's MTS Program.
