Radio Design Service
This wireless local loop design service incorporates a full-duplex system with two-chip MMIC solution for a synthesized RF front end with ultra-high linearity and efficiency. The solution delivers a high speed variable-rate modem with automatic detection and modulation/demodulation capability using quadrature phase-shift keying or 64-QAM modulation scheme. The speed of the radio is up to 150 Mbps and utilizes binary Manchester coding. Compatible with CDMA and TDMA, the signal is controlled with a microcontroller.

High Performance Fiber-optic Transceiver System
The model AC 234 highly integrated fiber-optic wireless transceiver system features an internal patent-pending wavelength division multiplexer (WDM) technology that permits four-channel transmission over a single fiber, thereby increasing fiber usage and lowering overall system costs. The transceiver operates on a single 12 V DC power supply and delivers a spurious-free dynamic range of 95 dB/Hz2/3 (min). Output noise is -130 dBm/Hz and third-order input is +25 dBm. Other features include remote monitoring and alarming features, including a function that provides an on/off control for the laser and a laser monitor that indicates the status of the laser. Designed for applications where there is limited availability of fiber, the AC 234 is best suited for fiber-optic repeaters for cellular, PCS, wireless local loop and other wireless applications.
