Programmable Oscillators
The models EP1400SJ and EP1500SJ programmable oscillators offer 5.0 and 3.3 V in the 1 to 125 MHz and 1 to 106.2 MHz frequency ranges, respectively. Housed in a 9.8 mm x 14 mm x 4.7 mm plastic surface-mount j-lead package, these oscillators utilize a proprietary design and an exclusive programming method that offer a quick and cost-effective oscillator solution. The models are offered in a 14-pin DIP or eight-pin DIP hermetically sealed package and a ceramic SMD package. Operating temperature range is -20° to +70°C or -40° to +85°C and storage temperature range is -55° to +125°C.

High Performance Oscillator
The narrowband MicroYIG™ high performance oscillator delivers output frequencies from 2 to 10 GHz and provides an output power between 0 and +5 dBm. The coarse frequency is set with a small permanent magnet requiring no current, and fine-tuning is accomplished with a FM coil. Amplification of the signal is best handled by the end user via an inexpensive surface-mount amplifier. The unbuffered oscillator is available in a TO-8-style package for board mounting and a connectorized package, which allows the MicroYIG to be mounted to any system chassis.

900 - 1700 MHz VCO
The model MW500-1288 VCO incorporates wideband frequency range of 900 to 1700 MHz. Designed specifically for broadband, cable television and wireless modems, these compact, high performance, low cost packages enable system and subsystem designs to be smaller without compromising performance.

3930 - 4200 MHz VCO
The model V910ME01 VCO operates in the 3930 to 4200 MHz frequency range with a tuning voltage of 1.5 to 11 V DC and covers the 270 MHz bandwidth with an average tuning sensitivity of 45 MHz. This rugged device conserves energy by operating from a 5 V DC supply while drawing only 16 mA and offers the end user 1 ±3 dBm of output power into a 50 W load. Input capacitance is 50 pF (max), phase noise is -86 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and second harmonic suppression is -20 dBc (typ). Operating temperature range is -35° to +80°C. The VCO is best suited for automated surface-mount assembly and reflow and measures 0.50" x 0.50" x 0.13". Price: $15.95. Delivery: six weeks.
