800 MHz High Power Amplifier
The model HPA8 high power amplifier operates over a frequency range of 806 to 870 MHz with 12 V DC operation. The unit features a four-amplifier design with graceful degradation of output power under fault conditions. Specifications include an operating temperature range of –30° to +60°C, output power of 80 W (min), 100 percent duty cycle, RF in power of 20 mW to 2 W (max) and two type N jack RF connectors. The amplifier is equipped with automatic three-stage thermal equilibration circuitry, RF input overdrive protection, DC supply overvoltage protection and self-correcting over-temperature shutdown with alarm.

40 GHz Amplifiers
The models 25T18G26, 25T26G40, 40T18G26 and 40T26G40 amplifiers offer 25 to 40 W minimum power and frequency response from 18 to 26.5 GHz or 26.5 to 40 GHz. The amplifiers are self-contained, forced-air-cooled, broadband TWT instruments designed for applications requiring instantaneous bandwidth, high gain and moderate power output. Front-panel digital displays offer extensive operational control and system status information. Built-in IEEE-488 interface, 0 dBm input, SWR protection and gain control are standard features. Price: $100 K each for 25T models and $125 K each for 40T models.

500 kHz Switching Hybrid PWM Amplifier
The model SA07 pulse width modulation (PWM) amplifier delivers power bandwidth out to 50 kHz with a 500 kHz switching frequency for a hybrid. Topology for the unit includes direct access to the PWM input to allow connection to a digital signal; clock output and input pins for synchronization with other amplifiers or an external clock; an integrator amplifier; programmable current limit with one or two external resistors as determined by the application; and high side current limit and fault protection, including current sensing on each half bridge of its full-bridge output design. Specifications include a 5 to 40 V supply, analog or digital input, shut-down control, 5 A continuous output, one-inch square footprint, 94 percent efficiency, high fidelity audio, shaker tables, magnetic bearings and vibration cancellation. 250 W TWT Amplifier
The model 367 250 W TWT amplifier is a dual-mode pulse or CW unit available in 1 to 18 GHz frequency ranges. In the pulse mode, the unit is a high pulse repetition frequency, high duty TWT amplifier. Selection of pulse or CW can be accomplished with the unit in standby or operate mode. Phase noise is less than +/-1° and all spurious signals are less than –50 dBc. The amplifier has a four-line green vacuum phosphorus display with two page modes of information. Higher power TWTs are available to cover specific bandwidths. Primary power is 208 V AC, 60 Hz. The unit is supplied with IEEE-488 and RS-232 remote control is available.

PCS/WLL Amplifiers
The GRF40XX series power amplifiers are designed to deliver 40 W average power for both standard and wideband code-division multiple access (CDMA) while consuming less than 400 W. These class A amplifiers operate from 1.7 to 2.4 GHz with 51 dB (min) gain and are suitable for use in base stations for PCS and wireless local loop (WLL) applications. The model GRF4003 contains internal forced-air cooling, is vertically rack mountable and measures 15" x 10" x 4".

18 - 26 GHz LNAs
The JSD-series low noise amplifiers (LNA) feature noise figures from 1.9 dB, a frequency range of 18 to 26 GHz and a miniaturized coax interface.
