High Frequency PLL
The model PLL800-5800 high frequency phase-locked loop (PLL) operates from 5700 to 5900 MHz with a supply voltage of +5 V and step size of 500 kHz (typ). Additional features include a phase noise of –105 dBc/Hz (typ) at 100 kHz offset, typical output power of –3 dBm, and second and third harmonics of –15 dBc (typ) and –20 dBc (typ), respectively. Size: 0.60" x 0.60" x 0.14".

Surface-mount VCOs
The CSM and CZM series VCOs offer a low cost, high performance option in frequency control products for wireless communications applications. The units feature phase noise down to –120 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz and are supplied in a compact package size. The units also are suitable for applications where high frequency and linear modulation are required. The VCOs are available on tape-and-reel packaging and in frequencies ranging from 40 MHz to 4 GHz, and deliver –15 dBc (typ) harmonic suppression. Prices: start at $8.90 (1000).

Pin-thru/Surface-mount TCXOs
These temperature-compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO) include pin-thru and surface-mount products. Features include a pin-thru frequency range of 9.6 to 20 MHz and frequency stability of +/-2 ppm over an operating range of –20° to 70°C. The TCXOs offer tight stability and adjustable frequency. The units also offer the same frequency range with a stability of +/-2.5 ppm over an operating range of –30° to 75°C. The TCXOs are supplied in tape-and-reel packaging. Delivery: 10 weeks.

SMD VCXOs
The TQCJ and TQCL series voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO) are supplied in a small ceramic housing suitable for mobile applications. Due to the large pulling range of greater than +/-100 ppm between 0.5 and 4.5 V, overall tolerance of +/-40 ppm (max) can be compensated for without difficulties. The standard version delivers a HCMOS output signal. Maintaining the size of the housings and providing 100 percent pin compatibility, the units operate at frequencies up to 80 MHz (max). Overall tolerance is +/-32 ppm in the –20° to +70°C operating temperature range. At frequencies up to 40 MHz, the VCXO can be detuned by greater than +/-100 ppm, whereas beyond 40 MHz, detuning is greater than +/-50 ppm

Four-pin, DIP OCXO
The model CO-770 four-pin, dual in-line package (DIP) oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) provides low aging rates and temperature stabilities in a small package measuring 0.50" x 0.80" x 0.35". The oscillator provides aging rates of less than 3 x 10–9/day (avg), 7 x 10–7/first year and less than 4 x 10–6/10 years with temperature stabilities from +/-5 x 10–8 from 0° to 50°C. Wider temperature ranges are available to –40° to +85°C. Phase noise at 1 kHz is –135 dBc/Hz.
