API to present electromagnetic spectrum solutions at AOC Symposium

September 23, 2014

API Technologies Corp., a leading provider of high performance RF/microwave, power and security solutions for critical and high-reliability applications, announced it will present a full range of electromagnetic spectrum solutions at the 51st Annual Association of Old Crows (AOC) International Symposium and Conference in Washington, D.C., October 6-9, 2014, at Booth #1009.

“API Technologies’ EW (electronic warfare) technologies enable the U.S. Department of Defense and allies to rapidly adapt to changing situational environments.  With a product portfolio spanning new GaN-based pulsed power amplifiers and drivers and advanced RF/microwave subsystems and assemblies, to EMI filtering products, to TEMPEST and cyber security systems, we bring a strong body of knowledge and program heritage to the AOC community. We look forward to engaging with the members at, what we expect, will be a great event,” said Rick Graham, vice president and general manager, RF/Microwave and Microelectronics (RF2M US), API Technologies.

With growing reliance on communications and a congested radio spectrum, engineers serving the defense industry are under pressure to provide systems that function reliably in this complex environment. The API Technologies exhibit will feature solutions designed to address current and emerging defense requirements in the areas of: GPS, jamming / anti-jamming, signals intelligence, portable communications, and radar monitoring systems. Featured products will include: GaN (gallium nitride) power amplifiers and drivers, integrated microwave assemblies (IMAs), high power amplifiers, high frequency broadband amplifiers, GPS LNAs, antennas, integrated frequency multipliers (IFMs), digital frequency discriminators (DFDs), SAW oscillators and filters, BAW delay lines, as well as a complete line of low phase noise amplifiers, and API’s state-of-the-art filter products.

The company will also showcase its new lines of standard and customizable synthesizers and amplifiers. “Affordability is a growing concern for the defense industry buyer. Our standard and customizable products offer those in the defense community a cost-effective option without sacrificing features and capabilities,” added Graham.
