e2v signs agreement to become exclusive partner to ApisSys

May 23, 2014

e2v inc has signed an agreement to become the exclusive partner to market and sell ApisSys broadband signal processing (BBSP) products in the USA. This agreement will see e2v expand its product offering in the USA, providing flexible, off the shelf digital RF signal processing solutions that customers can configure to their specific requirements.

The addition of the BBSP products adds digital capability to e2v’s RF and microwave product lines and offers customers a choice of integrated RF signal processing solutions for defense and commercial applications including electronic warfare, radar, software radio, high energy physics and medical industrial systems.

Robert Brevelle, president of e2v inc, commented, “One of our goals at e2v is to be a trusted partner providing the best of breed solutions for our customers. Our business is built on our core technologies in RF, signals intelligence and broadband data conversion. We are delighted to be working with ApisSys, and this partnership will enable us to deliver world class solutions to our commercial and defense customers, to include leading edge performance for the intelligence community (IC).”

Xavier Bernard, president of ApisSys SAS, commented, “e2v has demonstrated an unrivaled ability to deliver the aerospace and defense community with high end RF power solutions and high speed data converters that perfectly fit with ApisSys’ range of high speed data conversion and signal processing board-level products. We are proud to work with e2v on the US market to provide their customers with access to the data conversion technology needed for advanced electronic warfare and radar applications.”

The product line combines standard and custom high speed data conversion, digital RF signal processing FPGA hardware and memory, with software and firmware in easy to use industry standard circuit cards that employ VITA and OpenVPX architecture standards. Via the standard backplane, the cards support a variety of communication types, including USB, 10/100 Ethernet and PCI Express, with typical configurations providing access to industry-standard CPU boards for additional control and computation.
