Coaxicom introduces online RF connector research tool

June 5, 2013

For decades, manufacturers across North America have been producing a variety of industry standard RF connectors, each with a unique series of part numbers to identify the product line. Over time, many companies have merged, closed, or transitioned to new numbering systems.  For industry purchasing agents, locating replacement parts can be time consuming and frustrating. After waiting 6 to 12  weeks for delivery, a mismatched part number often results in project delays and inaccuracy in shipments.

As a leader in the RF connector industry for more than 20 years, Coaxial Components Corp. has developed a foremost research tool for cross referencing the company’s extensive database of RF components.  The database encompasses product lines from more than a dozen manufacturers and dates back to the early 1970s.  Now, Coaxicom has incorporated the comprehensive cross-referencing tool into the company’s new website, launched earlier this year.

“We have received excellent feedback from our customers who utilize the online resource on a weekly basis,” says Julian Andrews, Operations Manager for Coaxial Components Corp.  “Whether they are purchasing through our company or working with our distributors, the online tool provides valuable information that was previously unavailable.”

The database of RF connector components includes BNC, SMA, TNC, SSMA, type-N, and all SSMB series. In addition, SMB, SMC, MCX and MMCX connectors are included.  The company continues to provide innovative solutions for complex microwave and RF challenges throughout the world.
