37.0 GHz Dielectric Resonator Oscillator

Model SOD-01213-22-S1 is a 37 GHz dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO). The oscillator is a free running oscillator and the high frequency stability is achieved by implementing a high quality dielectric resonator. The oscillator exhibits +13 dBm output power and low phase noise of -95 dBc/Hz at 100 KHz offset.

The frequency stability of the oscillator is +/- 3 ppm per degree C or better in the temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. The internal voltage regulator and output amplifier further improve frequency stability by isolating the external bias pushing/modulation and load pulling. A self-locking screw provides +/- 50 MHz mechanical tuning bandwidth without affecting the oscillator performance.

The bias condition is +8.0 Vdc/550 mA. The RF output is via a WR-22 waveguide connector. Various DROs at different frequencies up to 110 GHz and different power levels are also offered under different model numbers.
