Santier names Kyocera veteran Kevin Cotner as new COO

Santier, a leading custom electronic packaging manufacturer, announced the hiring of Kevin Cotner as chief operating officer. Cotner will manage Santier’s sales, manufacturing and procurement departments. He will report to Vim Dutt, Santier’s president and CEO.

"Kevin is a strong, proven leader who has an outstanding track record of building successful long-term supplier-customer relationships. Further, he brings both deep packaging industry knowledge and operational excellence to our company. We are excited at Santier to have him on board and look forward to working with him,” said Dutt.

A respected industry veteran, Cotner brings more than 25 years of experience running operations for leading companies in the electronics industry. Most recently, Cotner served as general manager of North American production for Kyocera, where he enjoyed a distinguished 15-year career. During his time at Kyocera, Cotner led the company through a major transformation, which included upgrading the company’s manufacturing systems in the USA and Mexico. Before joining Kyocera, Cotner served as director of manufacturing engineering at Toshiba America and program manager at Hughes Aircraft.
