Richardson RFPD launches smart filter function on website

March 28, 2013

Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the launch of a "smart filter" function on its website. The new smart filter allows users to quickly drill down through the nearly 100,000 semiconductors, systems and subsystems, M2M products, antennas, power supplies, interconnect and frequency control products, embedded solutions, passive devices, and electromechanical products using multiple search criteria.

The smart filter combines a powerful, advanced parametric search program that includes minimum/maximum range options, with sub-filters that allow the user to select or hide other attributes, including supplier, in-stock status, and newly-released products.

Smart filter search results may then be sorted by frequency or other relevant specification, as well as by supplier or price. At any time, users may review linked datasheets for additional information. Once one or more devices are selected, users may add the products directly into a shopping cart for purchase or to request a quote.

"Design engineers are the primary users of our website, and our new smart filter was developed with that in mind," said Greg Peloquin, President, Richardson RFPD. "Our objective was to create a simpler path to finding the right products for any given application, as well as to facilitate design-in."
