Crane Aerospace & Electronics appoints Robert Ferrante VP for microwave solution

Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co., has announced the appointment of Bob Ferrante as vice president of the microwave solution of the electronics group of Crane Aerospace & Electronics. In his role, Ferrante is responsible for operations of all electronics group microwave solutions locations, including Beverly, MA, Chandler, AZ, West Caldwell, NJ and San Jose, Costa Rica. He will be located in West Caldwell, NJ.

Ferrante has over 30 years of experience in the defense electronics industry. Since 2003, Ferrante held the position of VP, general manager for ITT Exelis Airborne Electronic Attack Division dedicated to high power RF countermeasures for air, sea and land platforms, where he profitably grew orders and revenue. Prior to ITT, he held the position of VP program management for BAE/Cobham (formerly AEL), program director for Lockheed Martin (formerly GE Aerospace) and manager of programs for Singer Link Simulation Systems.

Ferrante holds a BS in Political Science from Catholic University of America Washington, DC. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force, holds Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance and is also Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
