Agilent Technologies Announces European Distribution Agreement with BFi OPTiLAS for RF, Microwave Products

SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 1, 2007 -- Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced a distribution agreement with BFi OPTiLAS. It is the first for Agilent's worldwide distribution program for the HMMC family of products. Under the agreement, BFi OPTiLAS will act as a stocking distributor in Europe for Agilent RF and microwave products, including amplifiers, switches, attenuators and diodes. "We look forward to distributing Agilent's millimeter-wave IC family of products in Europe," said Ernesto Prestifilippo, business development director for BFi OPTiLAS. "This portfolio of products from Agilent offers a high-performance solution for our customers that we can continue to serve with the same focus and dedication as we have been doing for many years." BFi OPTiLAS is the premier pan-European technical distributor of specialist products and services for the photonics and electronics markets. Agilent's HMMC family of products consists of 16 millimeter-wave ICs (amplifiers, attenuators and switches) and two zero-bias detector diodes. Each of these items provides superior performance for a wide range of DC to 50GHz RF and 10 Gb/s telecom applications. All HMMC products are manufactured in Agilent's Santa Rosa (Calif.)
