June 1, 2011

CST(Booth 1423) will be offering free on-booth presentations at IMS 2011 in Baltimore. These will look at some of the key benefits of CST STUDIO SUITE version 2011 and how it plays a critical role at the MW/RF pre-prototype design stage. Topics include antenna arrays, metamaterials, microwave tubes, field/cable coupling, BioEM and filter sensitivity/yield analysis as well as v2011 highlights and a brand new system assembly capability.

Tuesday, June 7:

9:45-10:15 CST 2011 Highlights and System Modeling by Simulation Projects. Jonathan Oakley, Marc Ruetschlin, CST

10:15-10:45 Array Synthesis, Unit Cell / Metamaterial Analysis and Infinite/Finite Array Simulation. Jeremy Fejfar, CST

3:15-3:45 Transient Co-Simulation and Bi-Directional Field/Cable Coupling. David Johns, CST

3:45-4:15 Simulation of Charged Particle Dynamics in Microwave Tube Design and Multipacting. Frank Scharf, CST

Wednesday, June 8:

9:45-10:15 CST 2011 Highlights and System Modeling by Simulation Projects. Jonathan Oakley, Marc Ruetschlin, CST

10:15-10:45 Bio-EM Analysis and High Field MRI Design. Ian Wood, CST

3:15-3:45 Array Synthesis, Unit Cell / Metamaterial Analysis and Infinite/Finite Array Simulation. Jeremy Fejfar, CST

3:45-4:15 Filter Sensitivity / Yield Analysis and Simulation of Thermal/Mechanical Effects. Frank Scharf, CST

Training on STUDIO SUITE v2011 software is now scheduled through the end of the year in the Boston, Silicon Valley & Los Angeles areas. 3 different courses are offered: Microwave and Antenna, EMC/EMI and Signal and Power Integrity. The courses are hands-on and aim to get you productive with the tools quickly. Complete list at: www.cst.com/Content/Events/Training.aspx
