Tektronix Announces Formation of Calibration and Repair Organization

Tektronix Inc., a manufacturer of oscilloscopes, announced the formation of Tektronix Service Solutions, offering customers single-source calibration and repair services for all makes and types of instruments spanning 130,000 different instruments from over 9,000 manufacturers. Companies seeking easier, more cost effective ways to meet their instrument maintenance and asset management requirements are increasingly turning to service and calibration providers with the scale and expertise to meet instrument care needs broadly, both in terms of instrument types and geographic coverage.

Building on Tektronix’ 65-year track record of delivering test and measurement solutions and global presence, Tektronix Service Solutions combines the strength of Tektronix with the extensive service capabilities of recently acquired Davis Calibration and Sypris Test & Measurement. The resulting organization delivers industry-leading capabilities, capacity and scalability with more than 100 on-site, mobile and depot locations. The new organization is backed by Tektronix’ deep measurement industry expertise and commitment to quality.
