ASC Signal's high-performance antennas are used in commercial and government satellite communications, terrestrial communications, imagery and data transmission, and radar and intelligence applications.

 A new development center will advance satellite sensing and communication technologies, broadly known as Radio Frequency (RF) payloads, at the Lockheed Martin facility in Denver. The RF Payload Center of Excellence will focus on developing reconfigurable payloads and advancing satellite systems that many already rely on, from high-def television broadcasts to GPS transmissions and secure government communications. 

In recent years, LTE has emerged as a challenger to existing public safety communication protocols. Continual refinements from 3GPP Releases and commercial collaboration between TETRA and P25 vendors with LTE vendors are turning First Responder and Public Safety LTE into a reality. ABI Research estimates the total number of public safety LTE user subscriptions to reach 11 million worldwide by 2020, with a market size of $5.1 billion.
