Electro Rent Corp. reported financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended May 31, 2012.
John Dimech recently joined TRM Microwave and will serve as business development manager. Dimech has a technical background and 20+ years of experience supporting products ranging from components to multi-functional modules; test equipment to sub-assemblies and box level manufacturing and test. Dimech will focus on expanding the company’s reach into existing key accounts while cultivating new business development in support of TRM's strategic growth plan.
Anritsu Corp., a global provider of innovative communications test and measurement solutions for more than 110 years, announces the opening of a 100 percent India subsidiary in Bangalore. The new office brings together marketing, sales, engineering, services, and support. By co-locating all the departments, the company expects to accelerate the rate of delivery of new products and provide better and broader support to its growing customer base in India. Anritsu also plans to start a branch office operation in Noida within this fiscal year.
Although 2012 turned out to be an off year for RF power amplifiers and devices for wireless infrastructure the market still held its own. The current year should be viewed as a breathing space before both segments resume stable and moderate growth after an explosive 2011.

This year Astrolab recorded net sales of around USD $20 million and a profit margin well above industry average.
San-tron Inc., a leading manufacturer of RF coaxial connectors and cable assemblies, has announced that they have hired Bob Carbonell to join their growing team as Eastern Regional Sales Manager. Bob brings over 24 years of military and RF/microwave experience to the position.
