The series of application-focused webcasts instruct to make precise RF and microwave measurements with the new FieldFox family of microwave analyzers. Test results are comparable to that of benchtop equipment in the lab as well as field installation and maintenance environments. Topics include techniques for precise interference measurements, cable and antenna measurements, calibration and alignment measurements, time domain measurements and precise power measurements.
Agilent Technologies is offering three application notes covering interference measurements, cable and antenna measurements, and measurement calibrations:
Aeroflex Ltd. has added support for 4x2 multi-input multi-output (MIMO) to the 7100 Digital Radio Test Set for the R&D testing of LTE user equipment (UE) being designed with this feature.
Rohde & Schwarz now offers a new R&S FSW signal and spectrum analyzer that covers the frequency range from 2 Hz to 43.5 GHz. Its high RF dynamic range, measurement speed and numerous functions make the R&S FSW43 an excellent microwave analyzer. The displayed average noise level of –164 dBm with preamplifier switched on is very low in the microwave range. With a phase noise of –117 dBc (Hz) at 40 GHz and 10 kHz carrier offset, the analyzer allows high-sensitivity measurements even close to the carrier, e.g. on radar signals.
SemiGen Inc., (www.semigen.net), an ISO and ITAR certified RF/Microwave assembly and automated PCB manufacturing company, has announced that they have purchased a new Agilent 50 GHz PNA network analyzer to augment their RF/Microwave test lab.
Introduction to a series of fully automated signal source analyzers offering a measurement capability of up to 21 GHz
OML announces a direct connect configuration that supports millimeter wave S-parameter measurements using the ZVA series network analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz. This entry-level configuration offers engineers the versatility to connect VxxVNA2 series modules directly to the front panel of a four-port dual-source vector network analyzer.
Agilent Technologies Inc. introduces a new series of eight videos are available that demonstrate how Agilent FieldFox handheld analyzers make precise microwave measurements in field-test environments such as satellite communications, microwave backhaul, military communications and radar systems.
Aeroflex Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflex Holding Corp., announced a new test system based on its PXI 3000 Series modular instrumentation, which has been designed to offer measurements over a 160 MHz bandwidth at operating frequencies up to 6 GHz. The new system is particularly suited for making R&D, design verification, and production measurements on wireless LAN (WLAN) devices based on the IEEE 802.11ac standard, extending Aeroflex's market-leading 802.11ac measurement capability in PXI to cover the optional 160 MHz bandwidth.
What: The new application note, “Concepts and Measurements of HSPA+ Evolution” explains what’s new in HSPA+, technical details and operations, new requirements for HSPA+ 3GPP Release 7 & 8, new design and test products for HSPA+, including manufacturing test.
