Although microwave and mmWave high-power vacuum electron devices remain “off the radar” of many, particularly those involved with solid-state components and systems, the market for this segment remains over $1 billion, according to ABI Research.

ABI Research forecasts global subscribers for high-speed data throughput will exceed 641 million in 2021, with 87% stemming from Asia Pacific, North America, and Western Europe.
