eesy-ic has opened a new design center in Nuremberg, Germany. The company specializes in customized integrated circuit (ICs) development as well as application specific ICs with analog focus.
Oscilent has completed the expansion of it’s state-of-the art production facility for RF Filter and standard SAW Filter manufacturing. The expansion increases production capacity by over 26 percent overall solidifying Oscilent’s position as the fourth largest SAW Filter production manufacturer in the world.
ABI Research reports that Broadcom has put into production one of the world’s smallest multimode (GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS) transceivers. The sub 7 sq. mm. 40nm RF chip (BCM2193) was revealed just one week after the discovery of the 40nm RF chip announced last week. Broadcom’s chip was discovered second but it may actually have hit production a week or two prior to the Mediatek solution.
Nujira Ltd., the world’s leader in Envelope Tracking (ET) technology, has signed a partnership agreement with LTX-Credence Corp., a global provider of market focused, cost-optimized semiconductor test solutions. The agreement will see Nujira use the LTX-Credence Diamond10 tester for testing of its Coolteq.L High Accuracy Tracking ET modulator ICs ahead of full volume production later this year.
