Delta Microwave, a supplier of amplifiers, filters, filter/amplifiers, multiplexers, and integrated microwave assemblies is proud to have supported the launch of NASA’s Radiation Belt Storm Probes (RBSP). Delta Microwave GPS filter/amplifiers are used in the United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket for range safety during launch.
Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) introduced a multiplexed 24-bit sigma-delta A/D converter that doubles the throughput rate of alternative sigma-delta converters while dissipating less power. Designed for process automation and instrumentation systems where data channel density is increasing and channels must be monitored faster, ADI’s new AD7176-2 A/D converter achieves a 50 kSPS (thousand samples per second) multi-channel scan rate.
Trilithic Inc. a market leader in RF and microwave components has released a new series of compact LC bandpass filters for the Iridium telephony band. This pole placed bandpass filter passes the 1616.0 to 1626.5 MHz band with a maximum insertion loss of 2.6 dB while providing a minimum of 15 dB of isolation at GPS L1 and 70 dB minimum at GPS L2.
The new RF filters from Pasternack are passive components that allow frequency signals to pass within a certain range and attenuate (reject) frequencies outside that given range, in this case, up to 3 GHz. Both the new lowpass and highpass filters are constructed using the Combline design, which provides outstanding VSWR and long term performance.
Pentek Inc., announced a new line of multiband, modular RF slot receivers: the Model 8111 series accepts RF signals over the range of 800 MHz to 3 GHz, downconverting them to a 225 MHz IF signal suitable for A/D conversion by any of several Pentek signal acquisition modules.
RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for TriQuint Semiconductor BAW filters including the 885025, a Band 2 uplink filter at 1880MHz. BAW filters offer improved power handling performance over traditional SAW filters. The TriQuint 885025 has a usable bandwidth of 60MHz and the RoHS compliant 3x3mm ceramic package can handle up to 1W (30dBm) of CW RF energy.
Pulse Electronics Corp., a leading provider of electronic components, introduces RF MoCA (Multimedia over Cable Alliance) filter modules that are pin-in-paste compatible. Pin-in-paste manufacturing uses a reflow instead of a wave soldering process to apply solder to the components, saving time, increasing throughput, and reducing costs. These filters are compliant with MoCA 1.1 and 2.0 requirements and are qualified with leading MoCA silicon vendors.
TriQuint Semiconductor Inc., a leading RF solutions supplier and technology innovator, has released three new bulk acoustic wave (BAW) RF bandpass filters that can handle more power while providing greater temperature stability and superior signal rejection for high performance infrastructure applications.
API Technologies Corp. announced its new family of hermetically sealed circular connectors for aerospace applications with high differential pressure. These connectors, from API's Spectrum Control line of products, meet MIL-DTL-38999 fine leak requirements and are ideal for aerospace engine control, hydraulic, and caustic environments where harsh conditions could exist.
TriQuint Semiconductor Inc., an RF solutions supplier and technology innovator, is enabling next-generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi and a superior wireless user experience with the introduction of three new high-performance WLAN front-end modules and two advanced Wi-Fi/4G coexistence filters.
