Agilent Technologies Inc. introduced the next generation of optical modulation analysis software for its family of optical modulation analyzers. The new software makes it easy for photonic engineers to set up tests on their optical modulation analyzers, increasing test efficiency by cutting the number of steps in half. By automating the execution of tests, the software also minimizes testing errors.

Anritsu Co. introduces the MT8220T BTS Master, a multi-function handheld durable tester with all the capabilities network operators, sub-contractors, installers, and regulatory authorities need when measuring base stations. It is the third generation of Anritsu’s field-proven BTS Master family.

Agilent Technologies Inc. announced significant enhancements to its midrange N9020A MXA X-Series signal analyzer. New options for 160-MHz analysis bandwidth and real-time spectrum analyzer (RTSA) capability address the challenges of measuring interference in the next generation of heterogeneous wireless networks.

A new measurement option from Rohde & Schwarz for the R&S FSW high-end signal and spectrum analyzer supports realtime signal analysis for frequencies up to 50 GHz with an analysis bandwidth of 160 MHz. 

Anritsu Co. (booth #938) will display test solutions to meet the high-frequency testing requirements of engineers in the aerospace and defense, communications, and semiconductor industries at IMS 2013 in Seattle, June 4-6. CETECOM has selected Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) to enhance their OTA testing capabilities with a new test system that includes LTE multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) and 802.11n functionality. The TS8991 test system can perform OTA measurements for LTE MIMO in addition to all cellular 2G, 3G, and 4G technology standards.
