 Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. released a new series of thick film chip resistors designed to meet the demand for high voltages in industrial and medical applications while saving valuable PCB space. Vishay Draloric RCV e3 devices offer high limiting element voltages of 400 V and 500 V in the compact 0805 and 1206 case sizes, respectively. 

 To meet the growing demand for AEC-Q200-qualified parts, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced that its MC AT professional series of automotive thin film chip resistors is now AEC-Q200-qualified over its entire resistance range from 1 Ω to 1 MΩ.

 Vishay Intertechnology Inc. introduced a new series of precision thin film chip resistor arrays featuring gold terminations for conductive gluing. Offering two integrated resistors on one substrate, the ACAS 0606 ATAU resistor array combines high-temperature operation to 155 °C with relative tolerance down to ±0.05 % and relative TCR down to ±5 ppm/K. 

 VPG announced that its Powertron resistor brand has introduced the first seven devices in its S Series of precision foil current sense resistors. Offering a TCR of ±2 ppm/°C — the industry's lowest for high-power current shunts — the SHR, SHS, SNR, and SPR devices provide power ratings to 80 W in a variety of epoxy packages.

KOA Speer Electronics introduces two new current sensing resistors, the zero ohm SLZ and the 1W/2012 SLW07. The high current SLZ1 jumper chip offers a rated current of 44A in a 2512 size. The SLW07 has an enhanced high power rating of 1 W in a smaller package size of 2010.

Vishay Precision Group Inc. announced that its Vishay Foil Resistors brand (VFR) has introduced a new series of military-qualified, ultra-high-precision Z1-Foil wrap-around chip resistors. Tested per EEE-INST-002 (Tables 2A and 3A, Film/Foil, Level 1) and MIL-PRF-55342, devices in the 303261 - 303266 seriesprovide exceptional load-life stability of ±0.0025% typical after rated power at 70°C for 2,000 hours, low nominal TCR of ±0.2 ppm/°C from -55°C to +125°C, +25°C ref., PCR (ΔR due to self heating) of 5 ppm at rated power, and tight tolerances to ±0.02%.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. announced that the company is now offering laboratory sample kits of its automotive-grade precision thin film chip resistors. The MCW 0406 AT (LCW AT 96/4)  and MCT 0603 AT (LCT AT 96/4) kits aid engineers in prototyping, and speed time to market in a wide range of electronic systems.
