Anritsu Co. announces it has developed the wireless industry’s first PTCRB-approved protocol test case for IMS Emergency Services. This critical test case is now available on the ME7834L Protocol Conformance Test (PCT) and Carrier Acceptance Test (CAT) system. Anritsu recently became the only supplier of approved test cases for this increasingly relevant technology during the PVG#64 meeting held in Beijing.
7Layers and Anritsu Co. announce that 7Layers has upgraded its ME7873L RF/RRM conformance test system with Rel. 8, Rel. 9, and Rel. 10 Radio Resource Management (RRM), as well as carrier aggregation (CA) test capabilities. This upgrade significantly expands the 7Layers test portfolio, including RRM capabilities for conformance test (CT), carrier-specific RRM capabilities for carrier acceptance test (CAT), and Anritsu’s market-leading capabilities for LTE Advanced CA.
PCTEST Engineering Laboratory Inc. (PCTEST LAB), an accredited testing laboratory for wireless testing and certification, has purchased a second R&S TS8980FTA-2 conformance test system and several additional R&S CMW500 wideband radio communication testers to cover key next generation technologies. PCTEST's expanded test capabilities support new conformance and carrier acceptance test requirements for IMS, VoLTE, RCS, WiFi Offloading, E911 over IMS, SUPL 2.0, LTE A-GNSS, OTDOA, and eCID.
Anite, a global leader in wireless equipment testing technology, announced that it has launched full support for the Global Certification Forum (GCF) LTE data throughput performance testing requirements. This will enable mobile operators and device manufacturers to cost-efficiently test the data throughput performance of new devices in real-world conditions.
Anite, together with HiSilicon has verified Release 10 LTE-Advanced protocols in HiSilicon’s newly developed LTE-A chipset.
Anite has announced that its Conformance Toolset for protocol and performance testing supports the highest number of validated protocol conformance test cases for TD-LTE.
Anritsu Co. announces its market-leading ME7873L RF/RRM Conformance Test System and ME7834L Mobile Device Test Platform have received the most test case validations across a single platform type for LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation (CA). This breakthrough further affirms Anritsu’s commitment to provide solutions for certification testing of mobile devices that implement CA, one of the key LTE-Advanced features defined in 3GPP Release 10.
PCTEST selects Rohde & Schwarz to enhance its conformance testing for 4G/LTE-A, VoLTE/IMS, 3G and 2G
The R&S TS8980FTA-2 and R&S CMW500 platforms from Rohde & Schwarz will expand the overall test capabilities of PCTEST Lab, boost its ability to offer the complete range of wireless test services needed for global certification, and make certification testing more efficient for customers.
Anritsu Corp. announces its first LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) Carrier Aggregation (CA) test case submissions to RAN 5, demonstrating a strength in protocol conformance that extends across current 2G, 3G, and leading-edge LTE technology. This follows its recent world first in validating RF conformance test cases for CA in PTCRB. RAN 5 verification paves the way for protocol test validations and the inclusion of this technology in GCF and PTCRB certification.
Agilent introduced MIPI™ M-PHY physical layer receiver and transmitter tests with switch automation. The tests are designed to accelerate the turn-on and debug of MIPI M-PHY-based systems and provide design engineers an efficient way to ensure M-PHY devices interoperate with the application processor.
