Analog Devices Inc. introduced the AD5689R D/A converter. This 16-bit dual nanoDAC+ continues the series of ADIs nanoDAC® products offering high performance in smaller packages. With relative accuracy of ±2-LSB INL, 2-ppm/°C 2.5-V reference, and space saving packages, this combination allows analog designers to address a wider range of applications without having to trade off performance for footprint.
Linear Technology announces the LTC6090, a precision operational amplifier that operates on a supply voltage up to 140 V (or ±70 V). Its combination of rail-to-rail output, 3 pA (typical) input bias current, 1.6 mV maximum input offset voltage and 3.5 µVP-P low frequency noise delivers the precision required for high performance ATE, piezo driver, and DAC buffer applications.
Hittite Microwave Corp., a supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication and military markets, has released a compact dual channel 32 Gbps Mach-Zehnder optical modulator driver to further expand its fiber optics portfolio to support the next generation of 40 Gbps and 100 Gbps metro and long-haul applications.
Pentek Inc. announced an enhancement to its fastest-ever data acquisition XMC module for the popular Cobalt® family. The Model 71641, capable of digitizing one 12-bit channel at 3.6 GHz, or two channels at 1.8 GHz, comes preconfigured with a programmable one- or two-channel digital downconverter (DDC) loaded into the onboard Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA. The new module is ideal for wideband radar and software defined radio (SDR) applications.
Centellax Inc. is pleased to announce the release of its 2 to 50 GHz RF power amplifiers for military communication and instrumentation systems. The amplifier is available with either 30 dB gain or 18 dB gain. Both are instrument grade amplifiers providing exceptional gain flatness per octave over greater than 5 octaves of frequency coverage.
RF Micro Devices Inc. unveiled a highly-integrated front end module (FEM) for Smart Energy/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) applications at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. RFMD’s single-chip RFFM6403 FEM delivers industry-leading performance, reduces customer design time and speeds customer time-to-market in Smart Energy/AMI applications operating in the 405 to 475 MHz frequency range, as well as for portable battery powered equipment and general 433/470 MHz ISM band systems.
Pentek Inc., announced a new line of multiband, modular RF slot receivers: the Model 8111 series accepts RF signals over the range of 800 MHz to 3 GHz, downconverting them to a 225 MHz IF signal suitable for A/D conversion by any of several Pentek signal acquisition modules.
TriQuint Semiconductor Inc., a leading RF solutions supplier and technology innovator, has released two new dual matched low noise amplifiers that are ideally suited for balanced high performance RF design configurations. These integrated LNAs are highly linear and offer very low noise figures, high output and include automatic shut-down capability for use in Time Division Duplex (TDD) and Frequency-Domain Duplex (FDD) applications.
Custom MMIC added three new GaAs MMIC power amplifiers covering 5 to 11 GHz to their growing standard product library. The CMD169P4 (5 to 7 GHz), CMD170P4 (7.5 to 9 GHz) and CMD171P4 (9.5 to 11 GHz) each have an output 1 dB compression point of greater than +28 dBm, with gain levels from 20 to 30 dB.
