TriQuint Semiconductor Inc. has released three new packaged GaAs RF power amplifiers that deliver high output, gain and efficiency for commercial and defense applications including point-to-point microwave radio, radar, VSAT and related applications.
RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the RFPA2026, 700 to 2700MHz, 2W power amplifier module from RFMD. The RFPA2026 is a 3-stage module with independent bias control for each stage plus the ability to bypass the first stage to reduce gain and power consumption. With all stages active, the RFPA2026 provides 38dB of gain at 2140MHz with a corresponding P1dB of 33dBm.
M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. (M/A-COM), a supplier of high performance analog semiconductor solutions, introduced a new limiter diode designed for passive limiter control circuits in L- and S-Band applications.
Custom MMIC added three new GaAs MMIC power amplifiers covering 5 to 11 GHz to their growing standard product library. The CMD169P4 (5 to 7 GHz), CMD170P4 (7.5 to 9 GHz) and CMD171P4 (9.5 to 11 GHz) each have an output 1 dB compression point of greater than +28 dBm, with gain levels from 20 to 30 dB.
Richardson RFPD Inc. announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for three new devices from Freescale Semiconductor Inc. (Freescale).
M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. introduced a new high voltage CMOS driver for PIN diodes for use in military and commercial radio applications. The MADR-010574 is designed to work with M/A-COM Tech’s high power and high voltage PIN diodes.
EMC Technology has introduced another cost effective solution for temperature compensation in an SMT planar style, the AN11 series. This ultra mini Thermopad® offers the smallest 0402 package size for temperature variable attenuators in the industry. The AN11 series is perfect for hand held devices and instruments, pico base stations and more. With excellent frequency response from DC to 6 GHz the AN11 series handles 100mW of input power, requires no bias or control voltages and generates zero distortion.
Richardson RFPD Inc. announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for a pair of new InGaP HBT amplifiers from Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. optimized for wireless infrastructure applications.
Hittite Microwave Corp. has recently expanded its DC Power Conditioning product line with the new HMC980, a High Current, Active Bias Controller die ideal for amplifier power management.
