ARMMS RF & Microwave Society Conference

Engineers involved in RF and microwave, wishing to broaden and enhance their technical knowledge are invited to attend this two-day conference. The event will start on the Monday with a light buffet lunch available from 12.30, to be followed by technical presentations starting at 14.00. The society dinner will take place at the hotel in the evening and presentations will continue from 09.00 the following morning and finish in the mid-afternoon. Also, throughout the two days there will be a tabletop exhibition where manufacturers are on hand to discuss products.
Speakers from both industry and academia will present papers covering a wide range of subjects, focusing on key areas of design and development. As a flavor of the variety of the content the preliminary conference program includes:
Manufacture and test of low cost RF products
Starbase and the Plug and Play Observatory Project
Design and production of low cost metallized polymer mm-wave components
Overview of antennas and propagation for UWB wireless sensor networks
Towards a new form of national impedance standard for millimeter wavelengths using dielectric waveguide
The registration fee of £275 includes the buffet lunch, the society dinner, overnight accommodation, breakfast and buffet lunch on the second day, and a copy of the printed digest. For those living in the area and not requiring hotel accommodation, there is a reduced day delegate rate of £180.
