RF and microwave component specialist Link Microtek has been appointed as the UK and Ireland representative for Scottish manufacturer MESL Microwave. Serving the radar, communications, defence, aerospace and space industries, MESL Microwave produces a wide variety of ferrite-based devices and subsystems, including isolators, circulators, SAW pulse compression products, diplexers, couplers, high-power ferrite switches and phase shifters.

Link Microtek’s Sales Manager, Stuart Hendry, was enthusiastic about the new agreement: “We are delighted to have been appointed as MESL’s representative. As well as adding a world-class range of products to our portfolio, this agreement gives us access to MESL’s subsystem capability, which will be of particular interest to customers within the military sector.”

MESL Microwave has over 45 years’ experience in the design, manufacture and support of specialist microwave components and subsystems. The company’s products are typically found in airborne, ground and naval radar systems, in wireless commercial communications systems, and in satellite payload systems.

Mark Watherston, Sales Director of MESL Microwave, said, “Link Microtek is a sizeable sales organization with the specialist technical knowledge that is needed for success in this market. We are very much looking forward to working in partnership with the company to support our ongoing business and develop new business opportunities throughout the UK and Ireland.”
