Narda, an L-3 Communications company, introduced the Model MS-SMA-020 SPDT fail-safe RF mechanical switch that operates from DC to 3 GHz and combines high performance with long-term reliability. It is an excellent choice for automated test equipment, base station transmitters and receivers, and general-purpose applications.

The Model MS-SMA-20 will withstand two million switching operations, and has insertion loss of less than 0.2 dB, isolation of 80 dB and VSWR of 1.2:1. It can operate from -10° to +60°C and requires 28 V DC at 160 mA. The switch uses SMA female connectors and is housed in a rugged enclosure measuring 1.5" x 1.34" x 0.5".

The Model MS-SMA-20 RF mechanical switch is available from Narda for immediate delivery.
