Comtech Receives $11.1 M of Movement Tracking System Orders

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., received orders totaling $11.1 M under its Movement Tracking System, or MTS contract, with the US Army. Total orders received to date against the $605.1 M MTS contract increased to $546.2 M.

The orders are for the supply of satellite network bandwidth, as well as installation, training and technical support services, the large majority of which are expected to be provided in fiscal 2010, and are in support of ongoing MTS program activities in the United States and abroad.

Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, "We are pleased to receive these latest orders for the ongoing support of this critical US Army system. We look forward to continuing our support to the MTS Program and other critical Department of Defense programs."
