Vincotech GmbH, part of the Gores Group, has taken up residence in new offices in Unterhaching near Munich, Germany. Following its divestiture from the former Electronics Modules division of Tyco Electronics to the Gores Group at the end of 2007, it was necessary for Vincotech to move to a new location.
The new offices in Unterhaching include a laboratory for the design of GPS modules and telematics platforms. It offers around 2,000 m2 of space, providing plenty of room for the company’s 70 employees, with the possibility of further expansion. As a stand-alone company, Vincotech designs and produces electronic devices for industrial drives, solar power generation and telematics applications. As well as the new facilities in Unterhaching, the company also maintains its production sites in Shenzen (China) and Bicske (Hungary).
