Motorola Inc. has officially opened its Innovation Center inside the company’s Wangjing Campus in Beijing, China, to showcase its latest products, technologies and solutions. This center is the company’s second in the Asia-Pacific region following the first in Singapore, which was established in 2007. These centers reflect Motorola’s efforts and capabilities in innovation, research and development.

In Beijing the center will provide visitors with the opportunity to experience Motorola’s vision of Media Mobility with a wide array of technologies, applications and products, presented through three demonstration zones. One highlights Content to the Consumer while the other two focus on Broadband Everywhere.

Visitors will also be able to experience the company’s vision of ‘Media Mobility’ that enhances personalized content access anytime, anywhere, backed by market leading home and personal multimedia platforms. It also demonstrates how Motorola, as the industry leader in 2G, 3G and 4G technologies, drives the mobile network evolution through IP migration and green concept adoption.

Ruey-Bin Kao, president of Motorola China, said: “Today we are pleased to announce the opening of this Innovation Center, through which Motorola will help advance the ecosystem of innovation for the wireless communications industry in China. This is a further demonstration of Motorola’s commitment to continued investment in China in the development of next generation technologies.”
